Clinically, Dr. H. is a visiting responsible for supervision of EEG and Konsilien in the ICU, general neurological Konsilien in the island's hospital as a part of outpatients with insomnia (sleep-wake center).
The focus of research is on the neurophysiology of sleep and epilepsy and their disorders by immunological processes. Methodology in this regard is the analysis of brain electrical activity in humans by means of extra-and intracranial macro-and micro-electrodes (in cooperation with the research group of Prof. F. Mormann, Bonn) in the foreground.
